In August 2023 after viewing several builds in the Salado, Texas area our realtor took us to see Village Custom Homes for our final viewing. This is where we met Keith and Tonya Spears, who are two of the nicest people you could meet and work with.

Walking in the front door … we knew right then, that this was the house for us. It met everything we wanted from the floor plan, color scheme to the butler’s pantry, except it was missing a bedroom. Keith told us they were building a four-bedroom down the street in the same floor plan. We went down the block and they were just starting the foundation. We immediately fell in love with the lot and the location and were sold on the spot.

Communication was spot on as Tonya kept us informed with upcoming interior decoration appointments, install timelines, and budgeting. Keith kept us informed of the build progress by sending pictures and videos. We talked weekly if not daily via phone, text, and email about the build and they both addressed questions and concerns in a timely manner. 

We traveled down once the framing was complete and went through the house with the electrician and addressed outlet placement etcetera as well as talking with Keith about exterior design.

We had a few add-ons: water softener, Generac wiring, and interior wall insulation in the office and master bedroom and they accommodated our requests. 

Keith and Tonya couldn’t have made our experience any smoother and if we had to do it over again it would be with Village Custom Homes.
